This release has been focussed on delivering functionality which will allow third party systems to add and remove rewards to Loyalty program members, keep customer information up to date and be able to initiate GDPR 'right to be forgotten' requests. We have also created the ability for third party systems to subscribe to a feed of Loyalty members Aztec basket and spend data.
Create New 'Adhoc' Reward Type (Loyalty)
To support the ability for third party systems to add rewards to a members account a new 'Adhoc' reward type has been created within the Loyalty System. This reward type can be set up in the Loyalty App like any other reward and once created can be added and removed from members accounts via the API. All existing Loyalty reward behaviour can be replicated in the set up of this reward type although the third party system will be the mechanism for adding or removing these rewards from accounts. This reward type should be used where another system other than Loyalty the Loyalty system is in control of the business rules around when the reward should be assigned to a Loyalty account.

Ability to Manage Loyalty Members Account Details (API Only)
Keeping a members personal details or removing personal data can now be achieved via the API. This allows third party CRM systems to keep the Loyalty system in line with its own guest data records without the need for manual updates in the loyalty application.

Ability to Provide Third Party System with Loyalty Member Aztec Basket Spend & Content Data
We have created the ability to share Aztec basket data with third party systems. Given that a third party system has been set up as a subscriber for a given loyalty program and aztec site, each time a Loyalty member pays for a bill at an Aztec site this data will be shared with the third party subscribing to the feed.
This will allow third party systems and operators to understand how much Loyalty members are spending, what their visiting habits are and also what products they most frequently buy when. This information would be especially useful for customer segmentation and automated marketing campaigns.
